My dvd player plays in black and white and i don't know why, can any1 help?

it was fine 3 days ago till my roomie touvhed it ...my tv on cable and hdmi works fine so it's just the dvd player, but i went through the settings and dont see anything promising, also i restored default settings and it didnt help ...the dvd player is a jvc xv-np10
