MY Rpm Meter is not Working properly plz help me :( what should i doo :(?

I have an RPM Meter in my Car Which Is Charade G-11 Normal 1000 cc 3 Cylinder.. Some Months Back i Bought it .. its in Blue Colour i think its Chinese Made .. but the PRoblem is that RPM meter is not Showing the Accurate RPMs ... i never seen that RPm meter Moves above 2 or 3 rpms :s which is nothing ...plz any one Help me what will the Solution for this Problem? when i am in Running its on 1 rpm. and while Just acceraltion its enought Rpm goes till 3 or 4 mAx ... plz reply me what should i do with tht RPM.. its nothing just Light bulb in my Car Dashboard :S plz help me thanks !
