How do I get rid of mold on my Crepe Myrtle?

It seems that the excessive rain we've gotten has caused a mold to grow on the branches of my Crepe Myrtle. The trunk has turned very dark as well. I know I could sc it off, but there are too many branches and the tree is too tall. Not to mention, I don't have time to do that. What else can I do?
