Is there a particular reason why i attract psychopaths opposites attract?

do you think it's because opposites attract because i'm extremely nice and forgiving and empathetic and will even put up with psychopathic-ish behavior and they see i have the opposite of their personality and that's why they like me.......? is that why because i'm too nice i attract creeps?
