I ve completed MSc frm Madras University in 2005-2007. I got 2nd cl. May I write improvement exam now?

I ve completed MSc frm Madras University in 2005-2007. I got 2nd cl percentage. I need 1st cl percentage now. May I write improvement exam ? Is it possible, if yes, what is the procedure to apply?
